Dilli Grey - Artisan Brand

A brand that ticks all of the boxes for me is London based, independent ethical lifestyle brand Dilli Grey. If Dilli Grey was personified she would be your best friend, thoughtful, kind, gentle, bright, inspiring and forever!  Led by creative director and founder Vickie El-Rayyes this British label focuses around sustainability and strong ethics. With a background in fashion Vickie gathered her own skills and knowledge and developed lasting and authentic friendships with artisans so that she could develop her own brand her own way. Being able to positively contribute to the well being of the artisans that Vickie has a long standing and personal history is one of the reasons Vickie is so focused on the positive change that her work can contribute to.
This is a modern, fair trade and global business with longevity that will grow and evolve with their valued partners with skilled artisans across India. Fabric and dye choices are organic and natural to ensure any part of the production process from harvesting to printing to making to packing doesn't have a negative impact on the environment where it is made or on anyone involved in the journey from start to finish.
Inspired by 70s styling each heirloom piece celebrates craftsmanship. Packaged in hand block printed fabric tote bags instead of plastic garment bags is just one of the considered eco step that Vickie walks with her heart felt brand.  This is a brand for a mindset not an age set. Our Dilli Grey devotees at Bless include every age from teens to grannies. The easy to wear, ethically produced statement pieces will become long standing favourites in your wardrobe.
