Collection: Vintage Kantha Quilts

Kantha refers to the multiple rows of intricate running stitches that patch and hold two layers of cotton saris and sheets together. This age old form of upcycling was traditionally carried out by Bengali women who would mend worn fabrics.  Today as an act of female empowerment women breathe life into old textiles working in their own homes.
A series of quilts are carefully hand sourced ensuring the detaiil and beauty of each piece by a member of our Bless family in India   After being photographed on roof tops in Delhi the treasured quilts are pre washed before being shipped to Bless.
We love to source for other stores, interior designers, boutique hotels and yoga studios.
