How to Care for Your Aromatherapy Candle

First Burn:

• Burn your candle until the entire surface has melted to avoid tunnelling and ensure an even burn each time.

Trimming the Wick:

• Trim each wick to about 5mm (¼ inch) before every burn — this keeps the flames steady and helps minimise soot.

Burn Time:

• Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

• Allow the wax to fully cool and harden before relighting.

Safe Placement:

• Always place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, pets, children, and anything flammable.

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Extinguishing:

• Use a snuffer or gently blow out both wicks — avoid splashing melted wax.

• Keep the wicks centred and upright for an even, clean burn.
