Good Death Salon launched at Abney Park Cemetery in October 2024.  We aim to create an intimate and nurturing space for curiosity, conversation and connection around death and dying.  It is a much needed open invitation to explore ideas, voice fears and share stories in circle. 

Whether you wish to acknowledge and explore thoughts around your own mortality or that of a loved this is a space for you. Honest conversations are refreshing and empowering. Far from being morbid they can also be enlightening. By acknowledging the impermanence of life we can perhaps appreciate it more fully. For many people discussing end of life with family members can be challenging and yet it is one of the most important conversations. Let’s start talking.

Good Death Salon was co-founded by death doula, author and founder of Bless Stories Ashlyn Gibson and Soul Midwife and Writer Danielle Galway. Ashlyn is a member of End Of Life Doula UK.
