A vintage kantha scarf is a wearable and versatile artisan treasure. Wrapped, tied, bowed they are a lend themselves to creative styling. Worn simply they add texture and colour to an outfit.
Traditionally Bengali women used a simple embroidery "kantha" stitch to upcycle fabrics creating a revived and new textile. Loose ends of the thread create a simple raw tassled hem.
Each scarf/shawl is reversible with 2 different sides that creates a multitude of colour and print options.
